Our Story
A quiet place to grow closer to Christ, together.
Why Abide exists
Abide was made because so many people are struggling quietly. Some are searching for God and don't know where to start. Some carry questions they're afraid to ask out loud. Some have no Christian community nearby. And some simply need someone to remind them that God hasn't forgotten them.
None of that is easy to say in a comment section. So this was built to be a gentler place — somewhere you can be honest without performing, and be known without having to be impressive.
- Spend time in Scripture, a little at a time.
- Pray — for yourself, and for other people.
- Reflect, and write things down where no one else can see them.
- Encourage one another with real words.
- Grow closer to Christ, without the pressure of social media.
There are no follower counts here, no downvotes, and nothing to win. Just a daily rhythm and people willing to carry a little of your weight with you.
Our mission
Abide exists to encourage people to walk with God one day at a time.
- Scripture first
- Everything here starts with God's Word, not our commentary on it.
- Grace over perfection
- Missed days aren't failures. You can always begin again today.
- Genuine community
- Real people praying for real things, in a moderated, gentle space.
- Honest prayer
- Bring what's actually true, not the tidied-up version of it.
- Encouragement instead of comparison
- No streak shaming, no leaderboards, no ranking of souls.
Meet the founder

Hi, my name is LeAnne Perez. I mostly just based the app on something I made in middle school. It was like a blog forum for people to just express themselves and talk about anything bothering them mentally or emotionally without judgement. I saw the opportunity to create something for people who feel alone like I did, and sometimes still do.
I have always been told I talk too much — my teachers sent home notes and wrote it on my report cards. I think that my purpose is to Talk Too Much, to tell people about God and spread His love with my words.
As a wife and child of God, I want to find my way to walking in His path and give my life to the one who blessed me with it. That is so hard when I spent so much time away and blaming Him. I'm learning now, one step at a time, and I am not who I was a year ago thanks to Him.
So, I wanted to make this for people like me who are struggling, who may not have support or are just afraid to go look. Jesus called us to love each other and take care of each other. I built this app to do that.
A note to every visitor
Whether you've followed Jesus for many years or you're simply curious about who He is, you're welcome here. My prayer is that every feature of Abide points you toward Christ rather than toward the platform itself.
Abide is Christian peer support — not professional counseling, and not emergency care. If you are in crisis, see Safety & Support.
